DESCRIPTION: Large, free flowering shrub with long deep mauve flowers that are attractive to butterflies.
FEATURES: Upright plant that is quick growing with masses of large fragrant deep mauve flowers and will grow in most parts of Australia.
PLANT WITH: other Buddleia, deep purple lavenders and large upright Rosemary.
CULTIVATION: "Joan" will grow in most soil types and is tolerant of a wide range of climates from cold to tropical. Looks great as a large background shrub in a colourful flowering mixed perennial bed. Medium prune mid autumn.
FERTILISING: Regular applications of Seasol and Powerfeed - mid spring to mid autumn.
