Notes from the plant tag:

A native shrub that grows up to 2 metres with arching branches with bright green foliage.  White flowers appear in spring and summer, followed by clusters of vibrant juicy red fruit.  The fruit has a similar taste to normal raspberries.

FLOWERING:  Spring and summer

POSITION:  Moist, well-drained soil in a sunny location.

USES:  Ideal in jams, tea and eaten straight from the bush as a healthy snack.

CARE:  Best grown in fertile, moist, enriched well-drained soil.  Net the area to protect the fruit from birds.  The old stem should be cut to the ground in autumn.
