Attractive low-growing succulent with pretty magenta flowers.

Hardy and easy to grow, prostrate succulent with striking magenta, aster-like flowers.  Foliage is thick and fleshy and pale green with creamy edging.  Aptenia forms a dense spreading carpet.  Reaches approximately 15 cm high and 1 m wide.

Prefers a moist, well-drained soil in a sunny position.  Will tolerate poor, dry soil and coastal conditions.
