Distinctive, evergreen shrub with fine, heath-like foliage.  Orange shaded flower spikes are displayed in spring.

Useful hedging and screening plant. The flowers attract nectar-feeding birds and are great for cutting.

Keep moist until established, and mulch well. Prune after flowering if required. Grows easily in a variety of sites that prefers well-drained, sandy or loamy soil.
