Notes from the plant tag:

A medium-sized tree with rough, fissured, grey bark and dull green leaves. From autumn to spring it produces a profusion of long, pale yellow flower spikes, followed by silvery-grey cones.

Ideal for coastal gardens and erosion control. The flowers provide winter colour in the garden, and attract nectar feeding birds.

Grow in a sunny position in well drained soil. Tolerates coastal conditions, windy exposed sites and frost. Benefits from summer watering.
