"Golden Cascade" is a prostrate Banksia with a delightful cascading habit of fine foliage, displaying golden flowers from Autumn to Winter. Vey attractive to native birds.
USES: Makes an excellent hardy groundcover or feature plant where it will hang over walls and spread over banks displaying its golden flowers above the foliage. Also suitable as a container plant.
POSITION: Full sun to part shade. Will tolerate windy coastal conditions.
SOILS: Prefers a well drained soil rich in organic matter. Do not disturb rooots when planting.
WATERING: Drought tolerant, but deep watering during extended dry periods will imporve growth and flowering.
FERTILISE: Use well rotted compost boosted with a slow release native plant fertiliser. Apply in early spring and late summer.
