Notes from the plant tag:

An elegant banksia, which produces a profusion of large flower heads in autumn and winter. The upright flowers are set amongst narrow, leathery, dark green leaves.

Provides long lasting colour in autumn and winter. Ideal for growing under established gumtrees.  The flowers are useful as cut flowers and are highly attractive to honey eaters.

Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Best grown in acidic, well-drained soil in a sunny open position.   Avoid alkaline soils to prevent iron deficiency in foliage.
