Notes from the plant tag:

‘Honeyeater Delight’ is a beautiful small growing Aussie shrub with a bountiful display of Banksia candle flowers held amongst soft green foliage.

  • It is an adaptable species from the east coast of Australia that flowers sporadically throughout Autumn, and heavily in Winter and Spring.

  • Honeyeaters of all kinds, native bees, and butterflies are attracted to this plant and will visit continuously during the flowering period.

  • It looks great as a border plant, mixed with other small groundcovers and shrubs, or as an excellent pot specimen when grown in premium Australian native potting mix.

  • Grows and flowers best in well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. If the soil is poor, a raised garden bed is recommended.

  • It is a hardy plant that tolerates frosty conditions. Once established, it only needs extra watering during extended dry periods.
