Medium sized, evergreen shrub with a stunning spring display of deep mauve flower spikes that are nectar rich, attracting the local birdlife.  Flowers profusely during summer and autumn.

Useful for screening, as a hedge, or for coastal gardens.  The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.

Callistemons tolerate poor soils, waterlogging for extended periods and moderate coastal exposure.

Flowers best in full sun. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
