Callistemon citrinus "Taree Pink"

This evergreen, medium-sized shrub has pointed, green leaves and a dense, bushy habit.  In spring it is covered in a profusion of bright pink, bottlebrush flowers.

Use for screening, as a hedge, or for coastal gardens.  The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.

Callistemons tolerate poor soils, water-logging for extended periods and moderate coastal exposure.

Flowers best in full sun.

Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
