Large, semi-double, rose red flowers are borne early in the season on a bushy plant.

An evergreen shrub, closely related to Camellia sasanqua, growing approximately 2-3 m with small, bright green foliage.  Abundant flowers are produced in autumn and winter.  Ideal for screens, hedging, large containers and espaliers.

Sunny or partly shaded position.  Protect from strong winds.
