Notes from the plant tag:
Rich display of dense foliage and magnificent semi-double blooms. Pink to deep pink shaded flowers.
CONDITIONS: Camellias are adaptable but do best in a slightly acid, humus-rich, fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or partly shaded position protected from hot, drying winds. Apply adequate moisture and mulch in summer.
PLANTING: The hole should be at least twice the width of the pot, and 8-10 cm deeper. If soil is poorly drained, mound it up and dig hole in the mound. Remove plant from the pot and place centrally in hole, adjusting soil level below plant so that the top of the roots are level with surrounding ground surface. Fill around with soil and tamp down gently leaving a ring shaped depression about 5 cm deep around the plant. Fill depression with water and after it has drained away fill it with more soil to make it level with surrounding ground surface.
