Notes from the plant tag:
Camellia sasanqua "Snow" is the first white groundcover camellia ever available. It is a direct sport of the recent introduction, camellia "Marge Miller" and has identical growth habit of being a beautiful, gentle, evergreen groundcover.
"Snow" has a mass of blooms that start the season double white in early autumn, with late blooms in winter pinking up a hint of pink. Looks fantastic when mass planted as a ground cover, as well as in pots. Makes a beautiful specimen when grown as a weeping standard.
USES: fantastic as a groundcover, in tubs, underplantings, or as a weeping standard.
POSITION: is best in filtered sun, or at least part shade. Easily grown under a range of soil types and conditions. Will perform better in a well-drained soil. Tolerates wind, frost and part to full shade. Will tolerate full sun if mulched extremely well. Excessive heat may burn tips; simply prune off.
CARE: Tolerates dry periods once established, but keep moist when young. Apply mulch regularly to prevent weeds and retain soil moisture. Regular trimming will result in a lush, bushy specimen.
PLANTING GUIDE: Cultivate soil well before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container and place plant in the hole so the soil level of the plant is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if soil is moist.
FEED: Osmocote PLUS Trees, Shrubs and Citrus Food every 6 months.
