Vigorous, deciduous climber producing large racemes of fragrant, lavender-blue flowers up to 45 cm long, during spring.
Ideal for training on walls, over arches or pergolas where they provide summer shade.
Prefers a sunny, well drained site with space and robust support. Keep moist during dry weather. Prune after flowering back to 5-6 buds to promote profuse flowering.
