Cinnamon Myrtle leaves may be used in place of conventional cinnamon spice to flavour curries, stews, soups, roasts, ribs and sauces.

Notes from the plant tag:

A hardy, small, bushy, evergreen tree with shiny, dark green leaves and clusters of fluffy, white flowers in summer.

A valuable tree for shade, high quality timber and even an excellent host tree for orchids.

Prefers a partly shaded position with moist, well-draining soil, rich in organic matter.  Responds well to an application of fertiliser during the growing season.  Mulch well and protect from frosts when young.
