Notes from the plant tag:

A hardy ginger with pinky white flowers on top of green spiralling stems.  An excellent landscaping plant.  Deciduous in cool climates.

CONDITIONS:  Prefers moist, well drained soil rich in organic matter.  Can tolerate full sun, though plants will look their best when provided with afternoon shade.

CARE:  Keep well mulched.  Feed well during growth season with a complete organic fertiliser.  Remove old spent stems to maintain optimum appearance.
