Notes from the plant tag:

A dense evergreen medium sized tree with large, shiny, heart-shaped leaves.

Produces masses of long sprays of golden orange-yellow pea-shaped flowers in early summer.

Attracts nectar feeding birds into the garden.

USES:  Excellent specimen tree or screen plant.

POSITION:  Thrives in a sunny open position in well drained soil.  Very showy display of flowers.

WATERING:  Water well until established.  Mulch and water over long dry periods.

FERTILISE:  Apply slow release native fertiliser in spring and summer.

PRUNING:  Prune after flowering to maintain shape and encourage new flowers.
