A colourful shrub with large flower heads of brilliant red bracts and small white flowers. 

Blooms profusely from November to July and grows well in a tropical or sub-tropical situation.

Ideal for screening or as a feature plant.  Useful for adding colour in the garden bed or in pots.

Thrives in rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position.  Keep lightly moist.  Prune back after flowering.  Water and fertilise on a regular basis.  Mulch well.
