Darwin Blood Red Plumeria Rubra

This frangipani is well known for its vibrant colourful and exotic flowers.  It is a deciduous tree producing large leaves that are borne on fleshy branches.  The blood red flowers have a mild scent and appear in summer and autumn.

A perfectly suited plant for warm climate gardens or in containers in warm, sheltered positions.  It is hard to top this flower for elegance and fragrance in bouquets and in vases.

Position in a sunny, warm, well drained site where it is sheltered from frost and wind.  Ideally keep the soil dry in winter.

Caution:  Skin and eye irritant.
