DESCRIPTION:  A small, evergreen shrub with large, deep green leaves with prominent veins.  Produces attractive, bright yellow bracts througout the warmer months.

USES:  Ideal for growing indoors where it will provide colour and interest.

POSITION:  Prefers a warm, well lit position indoors with protection from draughts.  Can be grown outdoors in warm and subtropical areas in a sunny position in moist, well drained soil.

CARE:  Feed regularly with liquid fertiliser and protect from frost.

PLANTING:  Cultivate soil before planting.  Dig hole twice the width of the container.  Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.
