Notes from the plant tag:  A vigorous, evergreen shrub which has pale purplish-red toothbrush flowers throughout the year.

Ideal specimen shrub, hedge or screen, providing almost year-round colour.  The flowers attract nectar feeding birds.

Prefers a sunny or partly shaded site in moist, well-drained soil.  Tolerates most frost, coastal conditions and short dry spells once established.  Mulch well.  prune lightly after flowering.
