Full sun
Height: to 3 m
Width: to 3 m
Notes from the plant tag:
With up to 13 blooms on one branch this Grevillea has flowers so large that they arch down, looking like a pink flamingo feeding.
Growing to 3 m tall x 3 m wide "Flamingo" will attract numerous nectar feeding birds to your sunny garden for 12 months of the year.
Planted in soils with reasonable to good drainage and hardy to light frost, "Flamingo" will need a hard prune once a year plus feeding with low phosphorus, slow-release fertilisers.
PLANTING AND AFTER CARE OF YOUR PLANT
While digging a hole twice the size of your pot, immerse your plant in water up to the top of the pot and prune off all coiling roots at the bottom. Your plant will very quickly grow new and straight roots. Plant into the hole to end level with original ground. Water in and then water every 1 to 2 days until established. Feed with slow-release, low phosphorus fertiliser.
