Well-drained soil

Masses of dusky pink brush flowers

 

Notes from the plant tag:

Plant in a well-drained sunny position.

Keep plant moist before and after planting.

Dig hole three times the width of the container.

Loosen soil in base of hole.

Plant at soil level with a shallow gutter around plant for water retention.

Mulch to 100 mm in depth keeping mulch back from base of plant by 30 mm.

After care:  water well in dry periods.  Mulch well.

Use native plant fertiliser in late spring and autumn.

Caution: may be skin irritant
