Notes from the plant tag:
Grevillea Peach Melba is a stunning new cultivar, bearing very large peach to dark pink flowers up to 20 cm long and 10 cm wide from autumn through to late spring.
USES: Grevillea Peach Melba is a small to medium spreading shrub growing 1.5 m tall to 3 m wide. In the middle of winter, Peach Melba is covered in large cylindrical flowers, dripping with nectar, making it a favourite for honeyeaters. It makes for a beautiful low hedge or as specimens throughout the garden.
POSITION: Peach Melba prefers a free draining soil with plenty of sunlight and will withstand a light frost. Drainage can be improved if necessary by building up beds with compost and river sand and incorporating some Blood & Bone and gypsum.
WATERING: Water thoroughly after planting, every 3 days in summer or weekly in winter. Once established, deep watering through dry times is recommended weekly.
FERTILISE: Fertilise in spring and summer with a slow-release fertiliser low in phosphorous. Top dress with a tablespoon of iron sulphate per square metre once a year.
PRUNING: Pruning back to one third of the size of the plant in late spring and summer will ensure maximum flowering.
