Use low phosphorus fertilisers
Notes from the plant tag:
DESCRIPTION: An evergreen spreading shrub with deeply divided dark green foliage. Produces bottlebrush shaped strawberry pink and yellow coloured flowers for long periods in winter and spring.
USES: Grevilleas are loved by honey eaters flocking to feed on the flowers at dusk and dawn. Ideal for use as a low hedge or feature plant.
SOIL: Well drained clay loam or sandy soil with a neutral to acid pH.
CARE: Feed with a slow-release native fertiliser when buds form. Grevilleas can be phosphorus sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%.
Caution - may be a skin irritant.
