Description

Heliconias are ideally suited to sub-tropical to tropical climates. They perfer humus-rich, moist, well drained soil.  Mulch to retain soil moisture and control weeds.  

For best results cut stem to ground level when flowers have finished.  This will encourage new growth.

Blooming October to December.

Height - 3 to 5 feet.

Full sun to 30% shade.
