A hardy, deciduous shrub with large, double, white, pink and red flowers on the one plant.

A coulourful addition to any garden, suitable as a screening plant or for hedges.  Attractive when planted en masse.

Prefers a moist, well draining soil rich in organic matter.  Mulch well to conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds.  Fertilise in spring and prune to shape as required.  Mulching will improve soil structure and ensure a cool root zone.
