DESCRIPTION:  Medium sized, deciduous shrub with colourful, rich rose pink flowers with a carmine centre during summer.

USES:  A hardy and colourful addition to most gardens.

POSITION:  Prefers a sunny position with moist, well-drained soil.

CARE:  Mulch well to conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds.  Fertilise in spring, and prune in late winter if required.

PLANTING: Cultivate soil before planting.  Dig hole twice the width of the container.  Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.  Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
