Notes from the plant tag:

An Australian deciduous tree that is variable in size.  Bright red flowers are produced when the leaves are shed, giving the effect that the tree is on fire.  The shiny green leaves are up to 25 cm wide.

Ideal as a specimen tree in large gardens for dramatic colour.

Prefers a sunny position and tolerates a wide range of conditions as long as the site is well drained.  Water well until established.  Mulch well.
