Notes from the plant tag:

Large, evergreen shrub or small bushy tree with rough, scaly bark and glossy, dark green leaves.  New growth is flushed with red.  Long, showy sprays of sweetly fragrant, creamy-white flowers appear in summer.

A hardy and spectacular street tree and ideal screen or windbreak for the garden.  Trees can grow to 30m in tropical climates and 4-6m in cool areas.  Will flower within two years.

Flowers attract birds and insects.

Grow in a sunny position in moist, well-drained soil.  Water regularly during dry weather.
