Origin: Anigozanthos 'Fran's Pink' is a chance flavidus seedling which came up in the garden of Fran and Jim Standish at Mt. Clunie, Northern NSW (New South Wales, Australia).

Flowers: From mid-spring to Christmas, 'Fran's Pink' produces numerous large spikes of dark pink flowers, which keep very well in a vase when cut.

Use: A great compliment to the other Anigozanthos flavidus colours in the landscape series.

POSITION: Full sun. It is drought hardy, tolerates a mild frost and will grow in most soil types.

WATERING: Benefits from regular watering in drier times.

FERTILISING: Feed with a balanced fertiliser twice a year.

PRUNING: Once flowering has finished, remove stems back to ground level. The whole plant can be pruned to just above ground level if needed. This should be done in mild weather.
