A fast growing, evergreen tree with bluish-green, triangular leaves and bright yellow, globular flowers during spring.

Excellent pioneer plant to help establish other plants in open, tough conditions.  Good plant for attracting birds into the garden.

Cultivate soil before planting.  Thrives in most positions with well-drained soil.  Frost and drought tolerant once established.  Benefits from native fertiliser applications in spring.
