Notes from the plant tag:

A medium to tall shrub with aromatic leaves, which have a distinct lemon fragrance.  Both leaves and stems contain the essential oils citral and citronella.  Masses of single, white flowers are produced through summer.

The leaves can be used for pot pourri or herbal tea.  Ideal for informal hedges and screening, as well as general garden use.

Grow in a sunny, open position in well-drained soil.  Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth.
