Little Peter is a very low growing, less than 1 m tall dense evergreen shrub. The dense foliage will provide shelter for small native birds and is generally pest and disease free. It can be grown as a container plant, minimum maintenance low hedge, as a compact foreground shrub, or in general landscaping where very hardy plants are required.

Little Peter produces very attractive, bright red new growth, year round.

Little Peter is easy to grow in full sun or part shade in most soil conditions, tolerating medium to light frost and is wind and drought hardy.

It is especially suited to exposed seaside conditions due to its salt tolerance. Pruning is generally not necessary.
