Alyogyne Karana

A medium shrub with attractive blue-ish foliage and masses of blue-mauve open trumpet flowers clustered along the stems in spring-summer-autumn.

A spectacular selection for open sunny gardens; an eye-catching hedge, an entriguing espalier for narrow spaces, and as a single specimen or small group, it can be planted as a focus in a garden bed.

Suited to cool temperate to arid and tropical climates, in well drained gravelly or sandy soils, neutral to low acid or alkaline PH. Moderate frost tolerance. Trim foliage little and often for best results, and feed with low phosphorus native fertiliser early spring or late summer.
