Notes from the plant tag:

An evergreen, small tree or large shrub with leaves of ruby red aging to green.  In spring, masses of tiny, white flowers are followed by large, pink to red flower bracts highlighted by the ruby red foliage.

A feature tree with spectacular summer display.  Excellent cut flower.

Grow in well-drained soil. Avoid heavy, wet clay soils.  Prune hard after flowering to encourage strong, new growth.

Apply fertiliser in spring.  Drought and frost tolerant once established.
