Evergreen shrub with fern-like leaves and brightly coloured flowers.

FEATURES:  Flowers red with yellow margins turning deep red.  Stamens are long and bright red.  Shrub is often prickly.

CONDITIONS:  Suited to fertile, moist, well drained soils in full sun.  Frost sensitive.

FOR BEST RESULTS:  Mulch the area to suppress weed growth and conserve soil moisture.
