Small evergreen Australian native shrub grown for overall effect and pretty pink flowers.

FEATURES:  Rounded, open, spreading shrub with narrow pointed dark green foliage which sets of the clusters of spring blooms.  This is a pink flowering selection.  Attractive to birds.

CONDITIONS:  Suited to moist, free draining soils in a sunny situation.  Tolerant of semi-shade, protected seaside conditions, light frosts and regular trimming.

FOR BEST RESULTS:  Enrich soil with a little well-rotted compost.  Trim back lightly after flowering and tip prune regularly for a more compact shrub.

PLANTING IDEAS AND USES:  

  • great for sunny rockery or bush gardens
