From the plant tag:

Graceful, clumping perennial grass with showy, arching, purple foliage and feathery, pinkish plumes that are produced from spring to autumn.

Provides good colour contrast in garden beds.

 

Prefers a sunny, well drained site and performs well in windy conditions.  Cut back to ground level in winter and fertilise in spring.
