Acacia rubida, or Red-Stemmed Wattle, is a versatile Australian native tree known for its red stems and lush green foliage.  In spring, it produces bright yellow, fluffy flowers, adding vibrant colour to gardens.  This fast-growing tree provides quick shade and shelter while attracting native wildlife.

Grow tips:

SUN EXPOSURE:  Full sun to part shade

WATERING:  Low to moderate, drought-tolerant once established

SOIL:  Prefers well-drained soil.  Adaptable to sandy and clay soils

FROST HARDY:  Tolerates light frost

FERTILISING:  Generally not required.  Use native plant fertiliser if needed.
