Strawberry Snowball Tree, also known as Winter's Joy.
 
This tree can be very difficult to find. There used to be a stunning specimen in the garden at the old Wellington Point Nursery.
 
Beautiful, fast-growing evergreen tree. Height 8-10 m.
 
Winter flowering, June to August.
 
Large, exotic bunches of brilliant pinkish-red, nectar-filled flowers.
 
The birds just LOVE it!
