Lovely, fast-growing, evergreen shrub or small tree, with deeply veined leaves.  In late summer and autumn, attractive, large sprays of 5 cm wide, pink flowers are displayed.

Ideal for providing bold colour to garden beds, and useful for large containers.

Prefers a warm, frost free, sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well-drained soil.  Prune lightly after flowering to maintain compact growth.
