Notes from the plant tag:

Fast-growing tree fern with large, lacy fronds emerging from a slender trunk.  Distinctive "coin spots" remain on the trunk where old fronds have broken off.

Ideal for ferneries and shady spots in the garden.  Little care required once established.

Grows best in a cool, moist, shady position but tolerates considerable exposure to sun if given adequate water.  Keep moist at all times and remove spent fronds regularly.
