Free-flowering, compact shrub bearing sweetly perfumed flowers in spring.  The purple flowers fade to white over a few days creating a multi-coloured effect on the plant.

Ideal low maintenance shrub for garden beds and perfect for informal hedges due to its dense, slow-growing habit.

Prefers a sunny to partly shaded, frost-free position.  Suitable for protected coastal gardens.  Keep soil moist during dry weather.
