Notes from the plant tag:

Clumping perennial with large, bluish-grey leaves.  Striking orange and blue flowers, resembling exotic birds are displayed on tall stems throughout the warmer months.

Ideal for large pots and adding a tropical touch to the garden or patio.  Flowers and leaves are good for arrangements.

Prefers a fertile, well-drained soil in bright light, protected from hot summer sun.  Keep moist in summer, drier in winter.
