A delightful, low-growing perennial groundcover that forms a beautiful, dense carpet of tiny, aromatic green leaves. During late spring and summer, Creeping Thyme becomes smothered in masses of dainty pink to purple flowers, creating a spectacular blanket of colour that attracts bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinating insects.

Its naturally prostrate, spreading growth habit makes it an outstanding choice for rockeries, garden borders, gravel gardens and planting between stepping stones or paving. The fine-textured foliage gently spills over rocks and garden edges, softening hard landscaping and releasing a pleasant herbal fragrance when lightly brushed or stepped on. It is particularly effective when planted in groups to create a colourful, living carpet.

Thrives in full sun and light, sharply drained soil. Once established, Creeping Thyme tolerates frost and periods of dryness, making it an excellent choice for Mediterranean-style gardens and sunny rockeries. Avoid heavy, waterlogged soils and excessive watering.
