Notes from the plant tag:
A stunning, compact Australian native shrub featuring fine, narrow, dark green foliage and masses of beautiful, soft mauve-pink to amethyst-purple spider-like flowers. The spectacular blooms appear predominantly from late winter through spring, often covering the entire plant in a vibrant display of colour, with occasional flowers throughout the rest of the year.
Its naturally dense, rounded growth habit makes it an excellent choice for native gardens, mixed borders, low informal hedges, rockeries, mass planting and feature containers. The colourful, nectar-rich flowers attract honeyeaters, bees and other beneficial pollinating insects, bringing colour and wildlife activity into the garden.
Thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates frost and periods of dryness. Light pruning after flowering encourages compact, bushy growth and helps maintain a profusion of flowers. Apply a low-phosphorus fertiliser formulated for Australian native plants.
