A spectacular, low-growing Australian native Grevillea featuring deeply divided, fishbone-shaped foliage and striking bronze to burgundy new growth that matures to rich green. Masses of vibrant crimson-red, toothbrush-like flowers appear from autumn through spring, providing a beautiful display of colour during the cooler months.

Its naturally prostrate, spreading growth habit forms a dense carpet of attractive foliage, making it an outstanding choice for native gardens, rockeries, embankments, retaining walls and mass planting. Particularly effective for covering large areas, suppressing weeds and stabilising slopes, it also looks beautiful cascading over garden edges. The nectar-rich flowers attract honeyeaters and other native birds.

Thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates light frost and periods of dryness, although occasional watering during prolonged dry weather is beneficial. In Brisbane's humid climate, good drainage and airflow are important, particularly during extended wet weather. Requires minimal maintenance, with occasional light pruning to maintain dense growth. Apply a low-phosphorus fertiliser formulated for Australian native plants.
