Small, evergreen tree with spreading branches, dark grey furrowed bark and attractive foliage.  Outstanding, bright yellow, nectar-rich flowers appear in winter and spring.

Flowers attract nectar and seed feeding birds into the garden.

Grow in well-drained soil, in a sunny open position, protected from strong winds.  Trim after flowering to maintain compact growth.  Mulch well.
