A sensational tropical flowering plant featuring dazzling, bright orange flowers in a striking, flattened pinwheel shape. Unlike traditional trumpet-flowered Mandevillas, Sun Parasol® FiredUp® Orange produces unusual, open-faced blooms that create a spectacular display against its attractive, narrow green foliage. The vibrant orange colouring brings a brilliant splash of tropical warmth to patios, courtyards and garden beds.

Part of Suntory's exciting Sun Parasol® FiredUp® collection, this outstanding variety has a naturally upright, bushy growth habit rather than the vigorous climbing habit of many traditional Mandevillas. Growing approximately 60 cm tall, it makes a superb feature in decorative pots, mixed container arrangements, sunny garden borders and outdoor entertaining areas. Its abundant flowers provide a long-lasting display throughout the warmer months.

Thrives in Brisbane's warm, humid subtropical climate, performing best in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly during hot weather, allowing the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings. Feed periodically with a balanced flowering plant fertiliser during the growing season and lightly pinch or trim to encourage bushy growth. Protect from frost and avoid constantly wet soil, particularly during cooler weather.
